About Hasegawa Machiko Art Museum

Machiko Hasegawa who wrote the manga ”national animation - Sazaesan” and her sister, Mariko, opened Hasegawa Art Museum on November 3, 1985 in order to spread their art to society widely. And Hasegawa Art Museum became the present Hasegawa Machiko Museum in 1992. Not only Sazaesan but also other manga and artworks can make people from adults to children enjoy it.

※Only 3 private parking lots around, but there is no public parking lot nearby

By train

Tokyu denentoshi line: get off at Sakurashinmachi and walk about 7 minutes

By bus

Tokyu bus: get off at Sakurashinmachi 1-chome and walk about 1 minutes

Prices

General: 600 yen

High school and university students: 500 yen

Junior high school and elementary students: 400 yen

※Group (over 20 members) and  65 years old or older : 100 yen off each

Business hours

Tuesday to Sunday and national holiday AM10:00~PM5:30

Regular holidays: Mondays and New year holiday

Goods Shop

Many Sazae-san goods are sold. Some of these can be purchased at Fuji TV too, but some goods can be purchased only here, as available.
