About Tokyo station

Tokyo Station is a terminal station located at Marunouchi 1 chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and has many local lines in Tokyo, such as Yamanote Line and Chuo Line. Because it is now the starting point of Tokaido Shinkansen and Tohoku Shinkansen, it has the largest base in the Shinkansen network nationwide, and it is also the starting point of main trunk lines such as Tokaido Main Line and Tohoku Main Line. There are about 3,000 departures per  day. The red brick station building was designed by Kingo Tatsuno, and it is designated as a national important cultural property. In recently, it is lit up and is famous as a tourist destination.

 

Is Tokyo Station actually a hotel?

 

At Tokyo Station, there is a hotel called "Tokyo Station Hotel" and you can enter the hotel directly from Marunouchi Minamiguchi. There is a great space in the facility where there are restaurants and atriums, and they can experience the good quality of Tokyo station, as they are hidden.
