Arakawa Amusement Park
Arakawa Amusement Park was built in 1950 as the only publicly-owned park in the Tokyo metropolitan area. It is popular among a wide range of people!
※Beginning 2018, it will be renovated with the goal of completing the work by 2020.
Square
In the rides area, there are attractions such as a small train, a family-oriented roller coaster and a Ferris wheel!!
In the animals area, one can find meerkats, ponies, capybaras, cows, Japanese monkeys, squirrel monkeys, raccoons, Formosan deers, small birds and so on.
In addition, there are fishing ponds!
In the Shitamachi Toden mini-history museum, there is an exhibition of model trams and parts from Tokyo Electric Tram network, and a railroad model operations space.
In the Relaxations (Ikoino) area, the Toden 6000 series trams are on exhibit.
How to get there
By train
Toden Arakawa line: get off at Arakawayuenmae station and walk about 3 minutes
JR Takasaki line and Tohoku line: get off at Oku station and walk about 15 minutes
By car
There are parking lots available, so you can park your car there

Adults under 65: 200 yen
Over 65 years of age: 100 yen
Elementary and junior high school students: free of charge (weekdays); 100 yen (Saturdays, Sundays, Spring and Winter holidays)
※May 5, Oct 1 is free of charge for all (national holidays)
※Every third Saturday and Sunday is free of charge if arranged accordingly via the Arakawa City HP "child-raising support site"
※ If you have a Tokyo Metro subway 1-day passport or water-bus ticket, up to three people can enter free of charge (no pets allowed).
